[Wikimedia-l] Purpose of this list?

I'm not sure I understand the purpose of this list.

The invitation seems misleading. An LGBT project would presumably NOT be unable to apply if it was time sensitive or if minimal effort was made to focus on the gender gap issue. I say this as an advisor to Wikimedia LGBT+ and a nonprofit grant writer who has worked within these types of situations many times.

If this is to discus LGBT issues, why not use the existing Wikimedia LGBT+ list?
